The AEE Board of Directors names the EDPR representative, Rocío Sicre, as president

The Board of Directors of the Wind Power Business Association (AEE), which met in Madrid today, has named Rocío Sicre as president, who until now had been the Country Manager of EDP Renováveis (EDPR). Among other duties, the newly elected president will be responsible for negotiations with the Government regarding the new framework for regulating the wind power sector.

("EDP") has announced today the following: «As disclosed today, an EDP General Shareholders’ Meeting has been convened for next February 20, in which, among other, shareholders will decide upon the election of new members of the Executive Board of Directors, for the 2012-2014 term of office, considering a proposal made by some of EDP shareholders, who hold, in total, a significant percentage of shares representing EDP share capital.

Certification OHSAS 18001:2007 wind farms

As a result of the work we have done in France this year, we have been able to certify the first six wind farms in accordance with OHSAS 18001:2007, with a total of 67 MW, which accounts for 23.5% of the existing MW in that country.
