Reservoir Link Bags Two Rooftop Solar Contracts Totalling 9.7 Megawatts

Reservoir Link Energy Bhd (“Reservoir Link” or “Group”), an energy-related services provider, announced that its subsidiary RL Sunseap Energy Sdn Bhd (“RL Sunseap Energy”), with collaboration between Reservoir Link and Sunseap Energy (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (“Sunseap”), has just secured a letter of award from Osram Opto Semiconductors (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd to develop solar rooftops as well as Building Integrated Photovoltaics (“BIPV”) power generation facilities on rooftops, existing covered carparks and BIPV carparks located in Kulim, Kedah with a combined installed capacity of 7,708.6 kWp and export capacity of 6,285 kWac. This solar agreement is expected to have a tenure of 25 years. RL Sunseap Energy has also been contracted to perform the operations and maintenance of the solar photovoltaic ("PV”) system through the contracted tenure.
In addition, RL Sunseap Energy has also signed a rooftop solar supply agreement with PE Land (Penang) Sdn Bhd on 25 May 2022. Under the agreement, RL Sunseap Energy will design, construct, install, own, operate, and maintain a solar PV energy generating system with a DC capacity of 1971.2 kWp on the rooftop of Design Village Outlet Mall located in Pulau Pinang.
To date, Reservoir Link has successfully secured 4 contracts to provide rooftop solar PV systems totalling 10 Megawatts.

“To date, Reservoir Link has managed to secure 4 solar power purchase agreements which in turn translate to an estimated recurring revenue of more than RM80 million which will be recognised over the course of the tenures,” he added.
