Installed capacity of 110 megawatts (MW)
Project overview
Hickory Solar Park will be located just north of Jerseyville on the Illinois side of the Mississippi River, north of St. Louis, Missouri. The town is surrounded by vast open agriculture fields and small patches of heavily wooded areas. The town of Jerseyville is a small, farming community that also serves as a popular getaway destination for the greater St. Louis area.
Hickory Solar Park yields significantly in the form of payments to landowners, local spending, and annual community investment. Hickory Solar Park is also compatible with other land uses and provides a stable form of income to local landowners.

Solar energy in the U.S.
Hickory Solar Park will save more than 139 million gallons of water each year and will displace carbon emissions from fossil fuel power plants, a major contributor to climate change. Solar energy also enhances air quality by helping to mitigate the health effects of harmful air pollutants.
