Milan, 16 January 2025 — Plenitude, through its US subsidiary Eni New Energy US Inc., has signed an agreement with EDP Renewables North America LLC (“EDPR NA”), to purchase a 49% equity stake in a portfolio of 2 operational photovoltaic plants and an electricity storage facility in construction located in the state of California, United States. 

Wisconsin’s renewable energy landscape continues to grow while bringing many benefits to communities across the state, including Lafayette County. One project in particular, EDP Renewables North America’s Quilt Block Wind Farm, benefits our county in more ways than one. This wind farm generates 98 megawatts (MW) of electricity. and is making a direct, positive impact on residents, farmers, and small businesses.

Oklahoma continues to make strides in energy growth, especially with its focus on renewable energy. Oklahoma has an operating capacity of 12,577 megawatts (MW) worth of wind, solar, and storage, ranking fourth in the nation. Oklahoma's clean energy projects create a place for energy independence and diversify our region's electricity portfolio. The wind farms specifically have strengthened our economy and invested immensely in our communities.
