First Workshop on coordination of business activities with EDPR services suppliers took place in Madrid

On june 3rd, the main companies working with EDPR met at our Madrid offices for the Workshop on the Coordination of Business Activities with service suppliers of the Spain Business Unit and O&M Spain.

The goals defined for this occasion focused mainly on sharing the company's health and safety policy aspects that affect collaborating companies working at our facilities as well as to inform them about the internal procedures that all companies collaborating with EDPR must follow, such as the use of the SGS Gestiona software tool, which is designed by EDPR for the exchange of documentation associated with the coordination of business activities with contractor companies.

With this new action, we aim to demonstrate the commitment and leadership of EDPR' Management with respect to health and safety, with the ultimate purpose of achieving our goal of "Zero Accidents".

Rocio Sicre, Country Manager for Spain, presented the workshop, together with Carlos Aguado, Environmental Manager for Spain, EU-Environment and Ceferino Viescas, Director of Operations and Maintenance Europe, who highlighted, among other aspects, the importance of the OHSAS 18001 standard, a certification that EDPR currently holds. As regards to raising awareness in matters pertaining to health and safety, the standard establishes the need to adjust to the company's health and safety policy and procedures.

Javier Jimenez Botero and Natalia Esteban intervened on behalf of the company's Risk Prevention Service EDP Spain team and were joined by José Manuel Pérez Iñigo, Head of Health & Safety Onshore Europe.

Francisco Galván, Director of the Europe Technical Area closed the session by highlighting once again the importance that these actions have as part of our efforts to ensure that no accidents occur at our wind farms and facilities..
