The Commission selected GreenH2Atlantic, which will install around 100 MW of electrolyzers in Sines, and Asturias H2 Valley, which will transform Spain's Aboño plant and include 150 MW of electrolyzers. The Innovation Fund, which is highly competitive, only selected 13 projects in the Industry Electrification and Hydrogen category.

• This milestone makes EDPR the first company in the sector to implement wind-solar hybrid projects in both Spain and Portugal;

• Through this project, the company will efficiently increase electricity production by utilizing existing infrastructures to expand its renewable energy generation.

• Agreement closed through Kronos Solar EDPR represents its first PPA in the country.
   
• This deal showcases Kronos Solar EDPR’s distinctiveness to contract PPAs with large corporate offtakes, boosting its strategy to deploy large scale PV power plants.
