With 1,400 megawatts of installed renewable energy capacity in Indiana, EDP Renewables will strengthen its position as the top wind energy producer in the state with this new 202-megawatt wind farm.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by EDPR CEO Miguel Stilwell d’Andrade, together with EDPR COO for Europe and Latam Duarte Bello, and EDPR Italy General Manager Roberto Pasqua.

The undertaking reflects EDPR's commitment to the energy transition and energy independence of Italy and Europe.

The facility, which is situated in the center of Basilicata, has a total capacity of 35 MW and produces 79GWh annually. With the addition of the Craco and Stigliano wind farm, EDPR has installed a total capacity of 463 MW in Italy.

• In partnership with Vestas and taught by SENAI, the 'Keep it Local' program will be geared towards providing students with courses on wind energy.;
• The goal of the program is to help improve the training and employment opportunities for residents living in sparsely populated areas;
• The companies will be providing 25 student grants to attend the course on wind farm operation and maintenance provided by the SENAI Rio Grande do Norte.
