The body is now composed of 12 members, 50% of which are Independent Directors, in line with best corporate governance practices.

The Board has also strengthened the presence of women, who represent 33% of its total membership.

The appointments of Miguel Setas as Dominical Director, and those of Rosa María García, Antonio Gomes Mota and José Félix Morgado as Independent Directors have been approved.

It has signed a Sale and Purchase Agreement with funds managed by Greencoat Capital to sell a 55% equity stake in a wind portfolio comprising two winds farms;

The total consideration of the transaction corresponds to an Enterprise Value (100%) of $720 million, which translates into an Enterprise Value of $1.8 million/MW;

This transaction is within the context of the €8bn Asset rotation program announced in EDPR Capital Markets Day. 

The two companies will use the ‘Keep it Local’ program to provide training to 24 young people living in towns where the companies are present. The selected candidates will be granted a scholarship to take the wind farm maintenance engineer course offered by AEE (Spanish Wind Power Association).
