EDPR signs PPA for a solar project in Singapore
Madrid, August 26th 2024: EDP Renováveis, S.A. (“EDPR”) has signed a 20-year Power Purchase Agreement (“PPA”) with a large technology company for the renewable energy exported to the grid by up to 200 MWdc (174 MWac) of solar distributed generation (DG) in Singapore.
The project, awarded earlier this year to EDPR under Phase 8 of the SolarNova program, consist of up to 200 MWdc of solar capacity spanning across 1,075 Singapore public housing buildings and 101 government-owned buildings to be installed between 2024 and 2027. It is the largest solar project in Singapore and the largest initiative under the government’s SolarNova program.
