Development of an erosion resistant coating with self-repair properties for wind blades.
The main objective of the project is to modify the coating commonly used in the manufacture of blades for wind energy in order to increase its resistance to erosion and, therefore, its service life.
In this way, the aim is to increase the profitability of the wind farms by means of three aspects: Increase of life in service of the shovel, reduction of the number of operations of maintenance of the shovel during the useful life and reduction of the losses of efficiency by increasing the erosion resistance
