EDPR informs on completion of Asset Rotation deal in Poland
Madrid, October 23rd 2024: Following the information released to the market on August 2nd 2024, EDP Renováveis, S.A. ("EDPR”) is pleased to announce the completion of a Sale and Purchase Agreement with Orlen Wind 3, a company owned by Orlen S.A. (“Orlen”), to sell a 100% equity stake of a 240 MWac (306 MWdc) wind and solar portfolio in Poland for an Enterprise Value of PLN1.15 billion (around €0.3 billion).
The portfolio includes 214 MWac (280 MWdc) from 3 solar projects and 26 MW from 1 wind project.
With the conclusion of this agreement, EDPR has achieved €1.5 billion of Asset Rotation proceeds year to date from transactions closed in 4 markets. Since 2012, EDPR has executed more than €20 billion proceeds from its Asset Rotation strategy, allowing EDPR to accelerate value creation while recycling capital to reinvest in accretive growth.
