I am more than satisfied, with the cooperation with EDP Renewables in Poland on the implementation of the Przykona PV installation project, as well as financial assistance to our cultural, sports or social welfare institutions. This is a very good example of cooperation between the Municipality and external investors. I am glad that thanks to this project, our Municipality appears as an inspiring example of energy transformation taking place in the region of Eastern Wielkopolska

Mayor of Municipality of Przykona

EDPR’s investment in Margonin in 2008 was the largest and most modern wind farm in Poland at the time. For many years, it has been an example of successful cooperation between the investor, the local government, and the local community, to the benefit of all parties. EDPR is the largest actively operating RES investor in the region

Janusz Piechoci ński
Mayor of Margonin

Since 2009, I have leased land to EDPR for 5 wind turbines. All these years, the cooperation has been without problems, the company pays me rent and I can continue to cultivate the land around the turbine. EDPR keeps its word and the conditions it promised.

Farmer, Municipality Korsze

I have been farming for many years. Leasing land for a photovoltaic power plant has allowed me to diversify my income. EDPR is a serious partner that I can rely on. As a result, I have a stable, predictable source of additional earnings for many years and I do not worry about financial security.

Benefits of working with us

Certainty and security

Our more than 15 years of experience in Poland, confirmed by positive feedback from numerous municipalities and landowners, is the best proof of our professionalism and reliability. Since we not only build RES farms, but also operate them for the next at least 25 years, we are committed to long-term partnerships based on respect, trust and mutual benefits.

Transparency and good dialogue

We believe it is our duty to inform the local community fully and honestly about our projects throughout their life cycle. We believe that the foundation of long-term, neighborly cooperation is open dialogue and empathy.

For landowners, cooperation with EDPR means attractive and stable land rental income over the next 25 years, allowing them to diversify their income sources and providing a security against the risk of lower agricultural income in future.

For local governments, cooperation with EDPR means certain and measurable benefits for the entire local community. Our investments contribute to improving the quality of local infrastructure, and tax revenues make a significant contribution to local government budgets. Since the beginning of our operations in Poland, we have been striving to add even more value to the local communities that trust us. In this regard, we are an unmatched model for many other RES companies. We are eager to support local cultural events, charity, education and sports.

Concern for the environment and biodiversity

What also sets us apart from the competition is our exceptionally experienced environmental team and our unique approach to the environment based on more than 15 years of operations in Poland and our global experience. We do everything possible to reduce the impact of the planned investment on the environment, starting at the stage of preliminary design work. We also strive to enrich biodiversity in the locations of our investments by implementing actions such as flower meadows.
