3rd grade students spent a full day at the beginning of this month to deepen their knowledge about the use of renewable energy by visiting the "Castillo de Garcimuñoz" wind farm in the province of Cuenca.

The session on renewable energy consisted of a presentation at the school given by Juan Garrido Ramos, an employee of EDPR, who explained to students the current role of renewable energy and how it is leveraged in the industrial field. After the conference, the students visited a wind farm.

Next and in small groups, students entered the base of one of the 17 wind turbines in the farm, which produce 2.5 MW each.
