As a leading renewable energy developer, operator, and owner in the U.S., EDPR NA is committed to harnessing the sun and the wind to provide reliable, homegrown energy to the state of Wisconsin, while diversifying landowners' incomes and bringing added economic and environmental value to farmers, landowners, and community members.
Citation for gallons of water saved assumes 0.58 gallons of water consumed per kWh of conventional electricity from Lee, Han, & Elgowainy, 2016.
Our renewable energy projects not only provide emission-free clean energy to communities but also offer a way to fallow agricultural land, allowing it to rest and recover while continuing to generate revenue. EDPR NA’s solar parks and wind farms are typically among the top taxpaying entities in the county or city where we operate, providing critical funding for services relied upon by local residents. Below is an overview of our economic impact in the state to date:

EDPR NA In the News
Wind energy is booming in Lafayette County, and it supports our farmers throughout the year.
Students from across Wisconsin gathered at the Wisconsin Energy Institute at the University of Wisconsin-Madison to compete in the Wisconsin State KidWind Challenge.
The partnership will support FFA’s Local Engagement Program, Resources for Work Force Development at agexplorer.ffa.org, Supervised Agricultural Experience Grants, and more.
